1. Agreement
These Terms govern your use of the EasyKameti mobile application. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
EasyKameti is operated by Ahsan Sajjad, Islamabad, Pakistan ("we", "us"). Contact: support@easykameti.app.
2. What EasyKameti is — and isn't
EasyKameti is a record-keeping and coordination tool for rotating savings groups (kametis, committees, ROSCAs).
We do not:
- Receive, hold, transfer, or process any money
- Act as a bank, financial institution, payment processor, escrow agent, or trustee
- Guarantee that any member will pay, or that any payout will be made
- Verify the identity, creditworthiness, or intentions of any member
- Organise, sponsor, or participate in any kameti
All money moves directly between members through methods you choose, entirely outside this app. We record what you tell us. We do not verify it.
3. Your responsibility for your kameti
Kametis are private arrangements between you and other members. You are solely responsible for:
- Who you invite and who you trust
- Whether contributions are actually paid
- Resolving disputes between members
- Any losses arising from non-payment, default, or fraud by any member
- Complying with any laws that apply to your arrangement
If a member doesn't pay, we cannot recover your money, compel payment, or intervene. We have no visibility into whether payments happened — we only show what the host records.
4. Legal compliance is yours
Rotating savings arrangements are regulated differently across jurisdictions. In some places they are restricted or require registration. You are responsible for ensuring your kameti is lawful where you and your members are located. We make no representation that your use of the app is legal in your jurisdiction.
5. Accounts
You must be 18 or older. You must provide an accurate phone number and keep your account secure. You are responsible for everything done under your account.
Never share your verification code. We will never ask for it.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without notice.
6. Acceptable use
You may not:
- Use the app for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive
- Run a Ponzi scheme, pyramid scheme, or investment scheme of any kind
- Misrepresent kameti terms to members
- Record payments that didn't happen, or conceal payments that did
- Harass, threaten, or defraud other members
- Collect or misuse other members' information
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attack the app or its infrastructure
- Impersonate anyone
- Circumvent the in-app purchase system
7. Host purchase
Hosting requires a one-time in-app purchase, processed by Apple.
All sales are final. We do not issue refunds.
Refunds are handled solely by Apple, at Apple's discretion, under Apple's terms. Request them at reportaproblem.apple.com.
The purchase is tied to your Apple ID and restorable on your devices.
"Lifetime" means for as long as the app is available and operating. It is not a perpetual guarantee — see Section 10.
Prices vary by region and may change. Changes don't affect completed purchases.
Joining a kameti as a member is free and always will be.
8. Messages
By creating an account you consent to receive verification codes via WhatsApp — these are required for login and cannot be disabled while your account is active.
Payment reminders are optional. Manage them in Settings, reply STOP to any message, or email support@easykameti.app.
We don't send marketing messages.
9. Your content
You keep ownership of what you enter. You grant us a licence to store, process, and display it as needed to run the app.
You're responsible for the accuracy of what you record. You confirm you have the right to enter other members' details.
We don't monitor kameti content and aren't responsible for it.
10. Availability
We provide the app "as is" and "as available". We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the app or any feature at any time. We may cease operating the app entirely. If we do, we'll give reasonable notice where practical and let you export your data, but we're not obliged to refund any purchase.
Reminders depend on third parties (Meta, Apple, your carrier). We don't guarantee delivery. Do not rely on reminders as your only record of what's due.
11. Disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the app is accurate, reliable, secure, or suitable for your purposes.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
We are not liable for any money you lose in a kameti. Not for member default, fraud, dispute, or misrecording. Not for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages. Not for lost data, lost profits, or lost opportunity.
Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or PKR 5,000, whichever is lower.
This applies regardless of the legal theory and even if we were advised such damages were possible.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including legal fees) arising from your use of the app, your kameti, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
14. Third parties
The app relies on Apple, Meta/WhatsApp, and Railway. Their terms apply to their services. We're not responsible for their acts or omissions.
Apple is not a party to these Terms and has no obligation to provide support or handle claims about the app.
15. Termination
You may delete your account any time: Settings → Account → Delete Account.
We may terminate your access for breach of these Terms.
On termination, your access ends and your host purchase is not refunded. Kameti records may remain visible to other members.
16. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified in-app. Continued use means acceptance.
17. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Islamabad.
18. General
If any provision is unenforceable, the rest survives. Our failure to enforce a provision isn't a waiver. These Terms plus the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement. You may not assign them; we may.
